“Somewhere over the rainbow, Bluebirds fly, And the dreams that you dream of, Dreams really do come true…” - Somewhere Over the Rainbow

I believe dreams do come true and Saturday’s wedding is a perfect example! Hannah and PJ have felt like friends since the moment we met! Our shared love for a good Old Fashioned and good sense of humor made our engagement session so much fun and left me longing for their wedding day when I would get to capture these two on camera again!

Saturday may have been a little wet however we had a wonderful team of vendors who went above and beyond to make sure this couple had an amazing day! We were able to do first look and bridal party pictures in the warehouse of Driftless Glen in Baraboo and I love how the look of the barrels turned out, so cool! The ceremony was beautiful and filled with the most perfect florals from Remington's Flowers & Co. During the ceremony, they “planted” a tree which will go in the ground at their beautiful new house, such a creative way to symbolize the two families coming together!

After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed some indoor yard games and cocktail hour while we snuck away to Balanced Rock Winery for some Bride and Groom Portraits. Everything was going great and the backdrop of the bluffs was so beautiful! I could have been there for hours however Zach and I started to notice evryone’’s hair was standing up…..cue a severe weather alert and we knew we had to run to the car and get back to the venue! We made it back just as it started to POUR!! Zach took one for the team and got completely soaked getting us in the door with umbrellas, so HUGE shout out to the best second shooter, I love ya, hun!

Just before dinner, we were serenaded by a bagpiper which was such a fun experience and was followed by probably one of the most creative grand marches I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing! Speeches, cake, dances, drinks, everything about the reception was perfect and such a blessing to witness!

Hannah and PJ bravo on a wedding well done and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to be a part of your wedding day!! May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand

“However big, however small, let me be part of it all, share your dreams with me…” The Greatest Showman

Adventuress , loving, passionate, beautiful, funny, all these words perfectly describe Mike and Liz. When I first met them for their engagement session I lit up with joy because they were so down to earth, and so photogenic, it made my job extremely easy!! They were up for any crazy idea I had and had some amazing ideas of their own as well! Fast forward to their wedding day and they survived every crazy second of wedding planning in a pandemic and were finally able to celebrate and enjoy all the hard work they had put into this wedding!

They had a lovely ceremony at their church in Falls and had some gorgeous music picked out for every moment! Michale’s reaction to seeing Liz for the first time just about melted my heart, it was so sweet and such a moment filled with love.

After the ceremony, we didn’t have to travel far to find some beautiful spots for pictures! Even though it was about 90 degrees you can’t tell that anyone was melting!! And it was totally the guy’s idea to bench press Liz, a moment I was all too happy to capture!!

They ended the evening with a super fun reception! Instead of clinking glasses, you had to come up and demonstrate a kiss with your sweetheart in order to get the couple to kiss. Let’s just say we had some pretty creative ideas!! lol

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Bimmel! Thank you for allowing me to capture your big day, it was truly something special! May you continue to enjoy all of life’s adventures, but now together as husband and wife!!
