kyle & cheyenne

Have you ever had a feeling when you meet someone, that you know you’re going to be friends? That’s how it has felt meeting Cheyenne and Kyle! They are one of the most generous, fun-loving, couples I’ve had the chance to meet! After learning that they were high school sweethearts I knew we would have a special connection—as my husband and I are also high school sweethearts, and that’s not a very common thing to find nowadays! Planning this day with them for the past year has been so amazing and I am sad it is over, but also so happy for both of them and can’t wait to see how God prospers them in the future!

Cheyenne and Kyle’s wedding was held at The Barn at Buechler Farms in Belgium, Wisconsin this past Saturday. Despite some sporadic drizzling rain, it was a beautiful day to have a wedding! The farm provided such a beautiful backdrop for our bridal portraits! It was so wonderful to have such a great property at our disposal. The bridal party then hopped on a bus and continued the celebrations in downtown Port Washington, where we grabbed a few more shots by the lake front!

Overall it was a day filled with love, laughter, and so much happiness and it was such an honor to be a part of it! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Kirst! May God bless this new chapter in your life together, I am so happy for you both!

jacob & summer

Over the past few months that I have gotten to know Jacob and Summer, there are two things that have been evident right from the start. Their love for Christ and their love for each other. Getting to witness and capture that has been such a blessing to me and has been such a gift to be a part of!

Jacob and Summer's wedding day was beyond perfect! From Summer's beautiful ball gown to the perfect winter snow, to the elegant reception at Lakeland University, every aspect was carefully planned out and it showed!

It may have been a tad bit chilly and the roads might have been a little snow covered but the beautiful backdrop of freshly fallen snow and the light flurries falling during portraits made the cold so much more bearable!

Jacob and Summer thank you so much for including me in your day and for trusting me to capture such a big moment in your life I thoroughly enjoyed every second! Congratulations and may God bless you as you start your lives together as husband and wife!

Jacob and Summer had a dear friend that could not be at the wedding because she is currently in Thailand. She was able to Face Time them during the ceremony and at the reception so that she could still be apart of their day! Modern technology is a wonderful thing!
