“May we all know that nothing ain't cool 'til you wear the new off The sound of a quarter rollin' down a jukebox……Yeah, you learn to fly and if you can't then you just free-fall. May we all” - Florida Georgia Line

I wish y’all could have been apart of Shawna and Jame’s wedding day on Saturday! Or at the very least I hope you can feel the enormous amount of love they share through these pictures!! Not only did James and Shawna have had to deal with planning a wedding during a pandemic, while buying a house, and building a family, but Shawna also bought James a brand new truck that she surprised him with at the wedding! That woman deserves an award because I would have gone insane! But if it shows anything it shows how committed they are to each other and how they would do anything for those they love!!

After the beautiful ceremony at their hometown church, we headed to the mill where we got to take some of Shawna and Jame’s engagement portraits! James is a firefighter and so one of his buddies drove a truck over for us to get some pictures with which was amazing!! The mill was the most fantastic spot for use to capture some fall color but also capture the cool metal buildings. I would gladly go back and shoot there anytime! The reception was held at the place where Jame and Shawna actually met!! What a great way t bring thier love story around full circle! They decorated the venue to the nine and it looked amazing!! Capturing dancing photos under those lights was just fantastic!

Wherever life takes you James and Shawna I know you will accomplish many great things together! Congratulations on your marriage and thank you for the honor of being your photographer, Saturday was THE BEST!!

“'Cause you're a sky, 'cause you're a sky full of stars I'm gonna give you my heart…” - Coldplay

There’s always a moment during the wedding day that everything builds to. Usually it’s the groom getting to see his bride fo the first time. Or when the happy couple is announced husband and wife. Or maybe the Grad Entrance at the reception. Whatever these moments are you can feel the excitement build until it explodes in happiness. Saturday’s wedding felt like a million of these moments!

Kelsey and Ethan’s wedding day had the perfect mix of everything! Kelsey had the most beautiful bridal details ( Can we talk about her ring? I’m in love!) and the bridesmaids dresses were so elegant. The church had the perfect accent of flowers and the reception venue was decorated to a T thanks to Kelsey’s artistic eye!! I told her she should become a wedding planner because her vision turned out amazing!

We got to utilize the beautiful grounds at New Berlin Hills Gold Course for pictures and I was literally praying all morning that the rain would miss us, and IT DID!!! We were able to get in all our portraits in-between the rain fall and I could not have been more thrilled with how they turned out!!

Congratulations Ethan and Kelsey on a most fantastic wedding day, it was an honor to be a part of it! I wish you all the best as you start this new adventure in life together! I cannot wait to see all the amazing things you will accomplish together! Cheers!
