“It is impossible to manufacture or imitate love”.– Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

I could not find a truer statement to describe the Rigney Wedding this past weekend, because every moment was filled with the purest, truest form of love. Love for each other, love for their family, and love for all of those that came to help RonniJo and Logan celebrate their marriage to each other!!

I met RonniJo years ago when I used to dance and Logan was actually our neighbor growing up, so I have known each of them for a very long time. When they approached me and asked if I would be their photographer I was so excited because I knew I would have the most amazing adventures with them as they prepared to say “I Do”! I know I feel like I say this a lot but it really is true that these two were made for each other. Their love and care is so genuine and there were many tear-filled moments on Saturday because of how much love they have for each other!

The wedding took place at the Kalahari Resort in the Dells and we had the most wonderful time! Everything was decorated so beautifully and all the details were like something out of a fairy tale! We were able to sneak some shots at the Candy store in the downtown area of the Dells which was so much fun! RonniJo had asked if we could do this because she loves candy and thought it would be cute, and boy, it was perfect!! After that, we explored the golf course for some more pictures before heading back to the reception and dancing the night away surrounded by friends and family!

Sunday flew by in a flash but in each moment I felt so grateful to have shared this beautiful day with the most amazing couple! Thank you from the bottom of my heart you guys for allowing me to be a part of your fairy tale!!

“She's got a smile that it seems to me, reminds me of childhood memories, where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky…” Sweet Child O' Mine

Sometimes in life, you meet the one person that you feel completes you. Someone that shares your sense of humor, has the same love for adventure and makes everyone look at you two and just smile. This describes Amy and Eric. Over the last year of getting to know both of them, it has been abundantly clear how perfect these two are for each other! During their engagement session, Amy described her perfect dog right down to the color of the collar. We joked and teased about how much fun it would be to get a puppy and include her in the wedding pictures. Well. Just a few weeks later Eric surprised Amy with that EXACT puppy, right down to the color of her collar!! I also learned that Eric has bought Amy flowers every month since they have been dating!

Saturday was the perfect culmination of all that love that Amy and Eric share for each other. Every detail was so thought out and beautiful. The ceremony took place filled with their closest friends and family. What better way to celebrate than being surrounded by those that mean the most to you! Even though it was an extremely warm day for the 22nd of May, we still had a great time doing portraits at the park and at the golf course!

The evening ended with a fun reception with great music, lots of outstanding dance moves, and delicious cake! We even got a beautiful sunset with the most perfect golden glow for sunset picures!!

Thank you Amy and Eric for giving me a glimpse into your beautiful lives. I loved capturing this momentous occasion for you two and I wish you nothing but the best and every happiness!!
