"She's your lobster. Come on, you guys. It's a known fact that lobsters fall in love and mate for life. You can actually see old lobster couples, walking around their tank, you know, holding claws." - Phoebe Buffay

There is no better quote than that to describe this Friend’s loving, hunter of all things, one of the sweetest and kindest couples you will ever know! Every time I got to meet with Erika and Andy it was so evident how perfect they are for each other and just a joy to be around and to become friends with!

Saturday may have been a warm one but through a little sweat and such beautiful support from everyone involved, it really was a perfect day! The ceremony was held at a little church in the country, not far from Andy and Erika’s new home! It was a wonderful ceremony in a beautiful space!

Following the ceremony, we hopped on a bus and headed to Port Washington, and did all of our portraits there! The weather decided to sprinkle some good luck on their day and gave us a few showers to dodge but nothing we couldn’t handle!

We then headed back to Andy and Erika’s new home where they had the most perfect reception set up, complete with yard games, and a popcorn and ice cream machine!!!!

I wouldn’t change a thing about Saturday, everything was amazing and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat to capture the love these two share! Congratulations you guys, I’m glad you found your lobster!

“Somewhere over the rainbow, Bluebirds fly, And the dreams that you dream of, Dreams really do come true…” - Somewhere Over the Rainbow

I believe dreams do come true and Saturday’s wedding is a perfect example! Hannah and PJ have felt like friends since the moment we met! Our shared love for a good Old Fashioned and good sense of humor made our engagement session so much fun and left me longing for their wedding day when I would get to capture these two on camera again!

Saturday may have been a little wet however we had a wonderful team of vendors who went above and beyond to make sure this couple had an amazing day! We were able to do first look and bridal party pictures in the warehouse of Driftless Glen in Baraboo and I love how the look of the barrels turned out, so cool! The ceremony was beautiful and filled with the most perfect florals from Remington's Flowers & Co. During the ceremony, they “planted” a tree which will go in the ground at their beautiful new house, such a creative way to symbolize the two families coming together!

After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed some indoor yard games and cocktail hour while we snuck away to Balanced Rock Winery for some Bride and Groom Portraits. Everything was going great and the backdrop of the bluffs was so beautiful! I could have been there for hours however Zach and I started to notice evryone’’s hair was standing up…..cue a severe weather alert and we knew we had to run to the car and get back to the venue! We made it back just as it started to POUR!! Zach took one for the team and got completely soaked getting us in the door with umbrellas, so HUGE shout out to the best second shooter, I love ya, hun!

Just before dinner, we were serenaded by a bagpiper which was such a fun experience and was followed by probably one of the most creative grand marches I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing! Speeches, cake, dances, drinks, everything about the reception was perfect and such a blessing to witness!

Hannah and PJ bravo on a wedding well done and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to be a part of your wedding day!! May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand
