“Like a river flows, surely to the sea, darling, so it goes, some things are meant to be. Take my hand, take my whole life, too for I can't help falling in love with you.” - Elvis Presley

Where do I even begin! I wish I could relive Saturday over and over again! I have known the Mancl family for many years and getting to partake in this amazing day with them was such an honor!
Erin and Sam are such an awesome couple and they really do compliment each other so well! Every moment I got to spend with them planning and shooting was such a treat. From Erin’s laugh to Sam’s sarcasm we were always surrounded by the love and laughter that the two of them share! They have built quite the life for themselves and I am so excited to see where this next chapter of life takes them!

Saturday began at the salon with a relaxing time getting hair and makeup done! The bulk of the afternoon was spent at the beautiful American Club taking getting ready pictures, capturing the ceremony, and portraits of the couple and their bridal party! And the final part of the day took part at The Berkshire in Sheboygan with a delicious dinner and a super fun evening of dancing!

Erin and Sam I am so so happy for you both and lucky to have been a witness to this phenomenal day! Thank you for making Zach and I feel like a part of the family and for the opportunity to tell your love story through these portraits!

“Here comes the Sun, doo-doo-doo-doo, Here comes the Sun and I say, It's all right” - The Beatles

Our 2022 wedding season started on Saturday and what a way to begin! Aaron and Greta’s wedding day was absolutely beautiful and such a joy to capture.

I met Great and Aaron when I did Greta’s Senior Portraits a few years back. Greta is such a sweet young lady and has just about the biggest smile and can light up any room with her laugh! Aaron had come along to help and jump into a few pictures and right away I could tell they were in love. That is a rare thing in high school, to be in love that young but I think I picked up on it because just like them I had been in love with my high school sweetheart. After they got engaged and asked me if I would be their photographer again for another momentous occasion in their life, I jumped at the chance!

Fast-forward to Saturday and the most beautiful day of their lives so far. Every detail was so thoughtfully planned out and executed, it was so special to be able to capture all of it!
They had a lovely ceremony at their home church in Cedar Grove. As Greta walked down the aisle I don’t think there was a dry eye in the sanctuary, she was so beautiful!

After the ceremony, we headed out for portraits in Plymouth. Thankfully the rain held off long enough for us to get some lovely shots and then we even got a sunset despite the overcast and cloudy day we had. I think Greta and Aaron had just about the best grand march we’ve ever captured, that flip over the shoulder was spectacular!

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Eichmeier! Thank you for letting us come and be a part of your beautiful day! I pray the Lord would bless both of you as you start this new chapter of your life together!!
