“When the dreams you're dreamin' come to you, when the work you put in is realized, let yourself feel the pride but, always stay humble and kind.” Tim McGraw

I knew when I booked Bell and Hunter’s wedding that it was going to be special but I really had no idea how special until thier engagement session when we realized we all knew each other from years back and in different ways! From that moment on they really did feel like family!

As a wedding photographer, I have gotten to witness so many amazing and beautiful wedding days and I am so thankful I got to add Bell and Hunter’s to my memories! The way that Hunter is always looking at Bell with those adoring eyes or the way Bell can make him laugh, they are all special moments that I loved to watch and be a part of!

Saturday was HOT. Like, unseasonably hot in my opinion but that just meant that the day was going to be fire! (Do the cool kids still say that?) We returned to Springbrook Events for the wedding and I was so so happy to be back! Every wedding we do there is always one of my favorites! They have a beautiful venue and even better staff!

Bell and Hunter chose to get married in the beautiful little chapel on the property and it was so sweet and intimate. We had such gorgous light pouring in through the stain glass windows and Hunters reaction to seeing his bride was one I will never ever forget. “Wow, she’s so beauiful!” he exclaimed through tears. So unbelievably sweet!!

Wandering around the property on golf carts, sharing so many laughs with the bridal party, and escaping the swan attacks made portraits so much fun! The reception was a blast and it was great to see all of their supportive friends and family celebrating the happy couple!

Thanks again you two for the honor of being your wedding photographer and now friend! I will forever cherish all of these moments!

“And I wonder, when I sing along with you, if everything could ever be this real forever, if anything could ever be this good again” -Foo Fighters

As I sit down to write this blog post I am finding it hard to find the right words. How can I ever possibly describe the perfect wedding day this past Saturday? How can I express the emotions of seeing my little brother marry the love of his life or the joy I felt every moment of the day knowing that Paul and Mati possess the love that most couples dream of and truly happens only once upon a time? Somehow I will try, but just know that what you read here is only a fraction of the beautiful wedding of the new Mr. & Mrs. Doro!

Saturday may have started out brisk, and by brisk I mean about 50 degrees in September in Wisconsin lol, but it quickly warmed up with the hustle and bustle of getting ready. Mati and Paul’s details were a true reflection of their individual personalities. From the little mushroom ring box to Paul’s crazy socks, each item was thoughtfully chosen to help them celebrate and remember this day!

Paul and Mati didn’t want to do a first look but wanted to exchange letters before the ceremony. As we waited for that moment to happen I witnessed my brother in a state of pure love and admiration for his soon-to-be wife, the tears were flowing because he knew the gravity and the joy of the moments shortly to come. I think this moment will forever be one of my favorites of the day and I feel blessed to have witnessed this special second in time!

My Dad performed the ceremony, which was beyond beautiful and perfect in every way. The music was perfectly chosen, and I loved how they connected puzzle pieces for the unity ceremony, and the ring warming was very touching. *give me a sec to dry my eyes*

Bridal party portraits were made possible by the amazing Jacob Wittneben, who was the videographer for the day. We explored the beautiful property around the venue and captured so many amazing poses!

The day ended with yummy pizza, donuts, dancing, speaches, and overall a big party to celebrate Paul and Mati, such a fun night.

Mr. & Mrs. Doro, may God bless the two of you as you daily seek his face and start your new life together. I will forever treasure each and every moment of your wedding and continually feel honored to have captured your big day!
