“And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” -Colossians 3:14

In the midst of all that is going on in the world lately, it felt so good to be able to celebrate Sasha & Cory and see how they were not going to let anything get in the way of their love for each other! Sasha and Cory’s wedding on Saturday was such an honor to be a part of. We had perfect weather, beautiful portrait locations, and lots of friends and family to celebrate with!

After the ceremony, Sasha and Cory were able to go and “see” their grandma who was unable to come to the ceremony due to the virus. It made me tear up as they talked through the window and I could see how happy she was to be able to see her granddaughter on her wedding day!

We took the bridal portraits at River Park in Falls which is always a favorite spot of mine due to the river, big bridge, and the beautiful willow trees. Also in case you are wondering, yes, they really did toss Cory into the air!!!

The reception was as much fun as the rest of the day had been. Lots of dancing and partying as everyone was able to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening. Overall I would not change a thing about their wedding because just like them, it was perfect!! Congratulations Sasha and & Cory, and may God bless you as you start your married life together!!

“Look at the stars, Look how they shine for you, And everything you do, Yeah they were all yellow” - Yellow by Coldplay

This is the song that Anna was singing on the night they met. When I was talking with them about their story I remember Joseph telling me that he heard Anna singing and he just had to turn around and see who it was. When he turned around he said “She was even more beautiful than her voice.” Now isn’t that just romantic???? Anna and Joseph are truly made for each other and I can see how much they truly love each other!

They had a beautiful wedding day this past Saturday surrounded by their closest family and friends due to the restriction that we all find ourselves in these days due to Covid-19. I have to say I actually really like these “micro weddings” or so people are calling them. It allows the focus to be completely on the couple and really centers around the most important part of the day, actually getting married! Anna and Joseph share many interests, one being music. Joseph actually wrote the song that they walked down the aisle to during the ceremony which made it even more beautiful!

Anna’s parents had everyone back to the house for a delightful reception. The house was beautifully decorated and allowed for some refreshment and fellowship with those dear to them! We finished the evening by exploring some spots in Sheboygan for portraits and found some gorgeous locations! They even walked out onto the jetties to create one of my favorite portraits of the whole day!!

Thank you Anna and Joseph for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day and capture the love that God has placed in your hearts for each other! I wish you nothing but the best as you start your lives together! Congratulations!!
