brent & april

“A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away” there was a couple that loved each other “3,000” and knew that “…if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.”

If you don’t quite get all those quotes, go look them up because they are from some of the best-told stories ever, just like April and Brent’s love story!

When I first met April and Brent and learned that Brent proposed on TOP of a mountain in Yellow Stone National Park, I knew that their story was going to be way beyond ordinary. The love that these two share not only for each other but also for their friends and family is phenomenal.

Their wedding day this past Saturday was just as perfect as them. The ceremony took place outside at the lovely Town and Country Club in Sheboygan. We had the most beautiful weather that we could have ever asked for! Especially since it looked like rain for so long and Wisconsin seems to be boycotting Summer!

The Golf Course was such a wonderful location for portraits, and I cannot thank Town and Country enough for letting us wander and use whatever we needed!

April and Brent, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your wedding day, it was an honor to witness you two comment your lives to each other and to be able to document this part of your journey!

“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.” - Walt Disney

I feel like this quote is very relatable, not only because of the theme of this shoot but in light of my journey with photography! Maybe one day I will get a chance to sit done and write about how I got here for those who haven't heard my story during a session. However, in the meantime, all I’ll say is that God has richly blessed me with such a wonderful career, doing something I love and have had a passion for, ever since middle school.

Part of my awesome job is working with high school seniors. One of the many reasons I love seniors is not only their explosive energy but their ability to run with any crazy idea I may come up with, and my 2020 Model Rep Team is no exception.

When we first talked about ideas for our group styled shoot there were so many that I thought would be fun to try, but ultimately I let the kids decide, the whole time hoping they would pick this one. Disney.

They did such a fantastic job of bringing these characters to life and I am so lucky and honored that I get to work with these guys this summer! Watch out world because the Class of 2020 has some dreamers!
